The specific details of events are circulated to members by e-mail or letter. Please give the secretary details of any events you know about which may be of interest to others.
Survey work in addition to the events tend to be organised in smaller groups… not everyone can make late evening newt surveys or weekend reptile surveys. Once trained, members are encouraged to organise visits and surveys with other group members, which contribute to the overall programme, as long as this is done within necessary safety guidelines. The Secretary can give further details such as times or exact locations.
Meetings
We have an AGM in November each year to elect office bearers and perhaps 2 or 3 other members meetings during the course of the year to compile and agree programmes of work, projects etc. Sometimes we can arrange for guest speakers to talk to us on subjects of interest. Other communications with members is usually by letter or e-mail.
